How to Pair Your Phone to the Projecta PM435 (Intelli-RV) System

If your Mars Caravan has the Projecta Intelli-RV PM435 (PM435-BT), you can connect your phone via Bluetooth to monitor your power system and (depending on your setup) control certain loads from the app.

Before You Start

  • Make sure your caravan’s 12V power is ON and the Projecta LCD monitor is powered up.
  • Turn Bluetooth ON on your phone.
  • Install the correct app: BWI-PM400 (used for PM400/PM435-style systems).

Pairing Steps (PM435 / PM435-BT)

  1. Open the BWI-PM400 app on your phone.
  2. Tap Bluetooth (connection method).
  3. Select your Projecta display from the list (it may appear like REGO V1-D01XXXXXXX).
  4. When prompted, enter the pair code shown on the Projecta LCD display.
  5. Once connected, you should see your system status and available controls inside the app.

Important: Pairing must be completed inside the app (not from your phone’s normal Bluetooth settings menu).

What You Can Do in the App

Features vary depending on how your van is wired and configured, but pairing typically allows you to:

  • View key system information (battery/charging status).
  • Monitor supported sensors (for example, tank levels if sensors are fitted).
  • Test/operate supported outputs (loads) from your phone (where installed).

Troubleshooting (If It Won’t Connect)

  • No device appears: move closer to the Projecta LCD monitor, confirm 12V power is on, then refresh the scan.
  • Wrong app: PM435 uses the PM400-style app (BWI-PM400). If you’ve installed a GEN II app, it won’t pair to PM435.
  • Previously paired phone: if another phone is connected, disconnect it first, then try again.
  • Still stuck: turn the van’s main 12V off and back on, then retry pairing from inside the app.

Need a Hand?

If you tell us what you’re seeing on the Projecta screen (or send a quick photo), we can confirm you’re on the correct app and guide you through the pairing code step-by-step.
