The RedVision by Redarc user app lets you monitor and control a compatible RedVision system from your phone via Bluetooth. What you see in the app depends on what RedVision hardware is installed
and how the system was configured in your van/vehicle.
What you can do in the user app
Features vary by hardware and setup.
- Battery monitoring: level/state of charge, voltage, temperature, and charge rates
- Control loads: switch things like lights, water pumps, compressors and inverters (if wired/configured)
- Automation: trigger multiple actions at once (example: “camp mode” / “sleep mode” style scenes)
- Tank & temperature: view tank levels and ambient temperature (if sensors are installed)
- System info: diagnostics and firmware updates (where supported)
How to pair the app to the RedVision display
- Install the RedVision user app on your phone.
- Enable Bluetooth (some phones also require Location Services to be enabled for scanning).
- On the RedVision display: open Settings → go to Display Settings → select Bluetooth to show the Pairing Ready screen.
- In the app: open the menu (☰) → under Devices tap Add (⊕).
- Select your system from the list (match the number shown on the display), accept the disclaimer, then accept the pairing prompt if it appears.
- Enter the passcode shown on the display and tap Pair/OK.
- First-time pairing can take a few minutes while the app learns your system configuration. Next time is usually much faster.
Good habit: pair from inside the app (rather than trying to connect from your phone’s Bluetooth settings).
Common issues & quick fixes
No devices appear when scanning
- Move closer to the display/module and try Rescan.
- Make sure Bluetooth is on, and turn on Location Services if your phone requires it for discovery.
- Confirm the RedVision display is sitting on the Bluetooth Pairing Ready screen.
Paired once, now it won’t reconnect
- Close the app completely and reopen it (especially if you walked out of range).
- If it still won’t play nice: remove the device inside the app and re-pair using the steps above.
The app looks “limited” compared to what I expected
That usually means the hardware isn’t installed for that feature (for example: tanks/sensors not fitted), or those outputs weren’t configured in the system. The app only shows what the RedVision system supports and has been set up to report/control.
Compatibility note
The user app works when paired with RedVision-enabled REDARC hardware, and the exact mix of screens/features depends on your build.
If you’re unsure what’s installed, check your build sheet or ask whoever wired the system.
